In the glass, the Cuvée de l'Écusson from Bernard Massard reveals a bright light red color. The bubbles of this sparkling wine shine wonderfully long-lasting and fine in the glass. When swirling the wine glass, one can perceive a perfect balance in this sparkling wine, as it neither clings to the glass walls in a watery, syrupy, or liqueur-like manner. It delightfully showcases expressive notes of lemons and pears. Hints of almond accompany these aromas.
On the palate, this well-balanced sparkling wine is characterized by an incredibly creamy texture. Its present fruit acidity reveals the Cuvée de l'Écusson to be impressively fresh and vibrant on the tongue. In the finish, this sparkling wine from the Luxembourg Moselle ultimately delights with a beautiful length. Hints of pear and lemon reappear.
Vinification of the Cuvée de l'Écusson by Bernard Massard
The foundation for the balanced Cuvée de l'Écusson from the Luxembourg Moselle consists of grapes from the varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Riesling. After the grape harvest, the grapes are promptly brought to the press house. Here, they are sorted and gently crushed. Now follows the fermentation of the base wines. After assembling the cuvée, the further maturation takes place based on the Méthode Traditionelle. Subsequently, the Bernard Massard Cuvée de l'Écusson ages in the bottle for several months and is finally disgorged.

Returning an item
We make every effort to ensure every product we sell reaches you in the very best condition.
You may return any unopened items purchased from Eldridge Pope & Co within 14 days of the original delivery date. If the product is defective or the return is due to our error, we will cover the return shipping costs. For all other returns, you will be responsible for the return shipping fees. Returns will not be accepted after 14 days. Once we receive the returned item, we will process your refund within 7 days, using the same payment method as your original purchase or store credit as requested .
